Faculty Development Program
for MDP Government College, Katghora
Taru Foundation is affiliated to the Chhattisgarh Higher Education Department to conduct Faculty Development Program in government colleges. So far, we have trained 30 college faculties and principals with modern day classroom practices and technological intervention. The program is conducted to ensure better classroom facilitation and intervention strategies. We have seen a significant development in classroom participation amongst teachers and students post the training program.

FPO & SHG Training
in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra
Taru Foundation in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Korba and Jangir conducted a series of capacity building workshops with various SHG and FPO groups. Our advisor, Dr. Chandrashekhar Khare led the entire program implementation across 2 districts. These trainings were foused on Agriculture based livelihood schemes.

Gothan Training
under the NGGB Scheme of Chhattisgarh Govt.
Narwa, Garuwa, Ghuruwa, Badi (NGGB) is a flagship program by the Government of Chhattisgarh to promote agriculture based farmer welfare in the state. Taru Foundation was selected as a Gothan training partner in the district. Under the program, Gothan Samiti members are trained on bio-gas plant, vermi composting plant, along with modern practices for well-being of cow. Training happens with the Zila CEO as well as the Samiti members.
